“How do we make a stroopwafel part of the coffee ritual?”
Waffle Warmer: The habit was already there: a stroopwafel on top of a hot cup, waiting for the caramel to melt. We gave it a crown. The Waffle Warmer sits on any mug, with an open middle that lets the heat warm the waffle. The crown is also a handle, so you lift the waffle off without sticky fingers. Made from sturdy plastic in Daelmans blue, with Dutch icons on top. The stroopwafel no longer sits next to the coffee: it's part of the ritual.

Warm it on your cup
The holder keeps the stroopwafel above the hot drink, where the rising heat softens the caramel filling.
Open centre
The ring supports the waffle around its edge. The open centre leaves room for heat to rise from the mug.
